The band is a ribbon of steel twisted back on itself: the surface turns from flat to edge and then back again, so that as you roll the ring between two fingers you find neither a beginning nor an end. On the antique grey finish, the hollows of the twist stay dark grey while the ridges come up bright.
At 5 mm wide, it is worn on the ring finger or the middle finger and sits just as well under a shirt cuff as on a bare hand in winter.
